Being able to bring new life to buildings with no character has no action at all easy. It is often more difficult than building something new.

Buildings constructed with outdated techniques are the legacy of 60 years of the twentieth century and the following decades. Invade the territory of the city and peripheral are now protected by legislation distorted, it is believed that we should save something from the recent past, but there is nothing to save.

The problems of the renovation of existing buildings are in my opinion to assimilate completely and for everything to do architecture from scratch. The designers never forget the time and place to which they belong because the spirit Architecture resides in them.

The sun hits are those belonging to the contemporaneity of purpose and action.

How to evaluate or self-assessed when the site is already well advanced, in short, in the course of work? I find that a project can not and should not be born and completed on paper. I find nature against the fact that the architecture can deplete in the project and to have no substantial changes in the construction. Of course we are talking about doing research with the construction, which is looking for an expressive language or truth of the matter. I find it necessary to rely on design tools while the work is already in progress and to review many of the certainties that the year generated. And 'no doubt a practical distorted nell'iter normal order of things but in my opinion is the most healthy and can lead essence of building.

On what tools then they are better suited to writing or variation on the theme started I would not be so exhaustive. To each is given to approach and speak with one with which has more confidences or immediacy.

I believe that photography of construction and the subsequent photographic collage allows ample opportunity to re-reading. I find that the target can fix the potential of a space, and that the inclusion of hypothetical surfaces can lead to abstraction of photography itself.

For me this is the key: reality and abstraction from it.

Incisi nella lamiera anni fa. Retroilluminati. Nomi propri. Ed i cognomi?

Solo lettere iniziali abbandonate a se stesse. R. T.

Etched into the plate many years ago. Backlit. First names. And surnames?

Only letters left to themselves. R. T.

And they say the legacy of their fathers. Our left us many important things but certainly no precept of Architecture. So how do you deal with the articulated havoc on the contemporary scene without a basic education? It should arm yourself with patience and get over you by yourself: Open books, travel, build an idea without giving digressions, look for own identity with obsession and, if results not arrive, continue on your path.

Professionally, we are not children of anyone.

We hope to be adopted by the Architecture.
